A realtor for over a decade, Jay Kirk understands what it means to invest in the outdoors. He uses state of the art tools, unique to his business, and has a dedicated UTV to escort his clients. Using a top-notch metal detector, Jay has the ability to establish boundaries of land. He uses drone photography, a critical tool in surveying hunting property. With a lifetime of experience, he is eager to “talk land” and explain how crucial understanding timber, minerals, crops, and wildlife are to a transaction. With the ability to advertise nationwide, Jay has had clients from all over the United States, from Colorado to Florida.

He continues to live by his father’s philosophy: if you have the opportunity to buy bordering property at market value or below, take advantage of it.

Though his expertise lies in land, Jay actively sells homes as well.

Jay, born and raised on a 90-acre farm in rural Western Kentucky, is no stranger to the outdoors. He is a fifth generation Ohio County land owner and has personally purchased multiple farms. He currently owns a farm resting on 400 beautiful acres. Upon his parents’ passing, he fulfilled the dream he shared with his father and founded Kirkwood Estates, a community boasting sites especially for custom homes. The name is a tribute to his late father.

A second generation realtor, Jay acquired many of his skills from his mother, a real estate broker and appraiser who owned her own brokerage, Western Kentucky Realty. Upon graduation, Jay attended Murray State University where he received a degree in Safety Engineering. After thirty five years in that field, he chose to follow in his mother’s footsteps and begin his career in his true passion.

When he isn’t selling real estate, Jay enjoys maintaining his wildlife-rich farm with his puppy Spooner. He is the proud father of one son, Gus, and one daughter, Molly. His greatest blessings are his three grandchildren, Odessa, Opal (Junebug), and Onyx. Together their hobbies include hunting, fishing, and swimming.

Jay has never received less than a 5/5 star rating, an accomplishment he owes to both his knowledge and his clients.
